Please read these terms carefully before entering Aligned. By creating an account or signing in, you covenant to uphold the Aligned Code and membership rules.
1. Vetted Membership & Vowing
Aligned is a highly exclusive community built solely for verified university students. By signing up, you authorize our team to manually verify your student credentials and college enrollment. Impersonation, fake profiles, or off-campus entry are strictly prohibited and result in immediate, permanent account termination.
2. The Commitment Handshake
To ensure high-intent matches and eliminate superficial swiping, Aligned implements a mutual handshake fee of ₹49. Once both parties accept a compatibility match, payment is required to unlock profiles and chats. This commitment fee is entirely non-refundable, serving as a pledge of genuine intent to connect.
3. Ephemeral Chats & Data Rules
Upon completing a Handshake, your chat remains active for exactly 72 hours. This design fosters decisive action and prevents ghosting. Messages, files, and chat states automatically dissolve from our secure servers after 72 hours. Users are responsible for exchanging contacts or social accounts within this window.
4. Zero-Tolerance & Moderation
Safety is Aligned's core foundation. Harassment, abuse, toxic behavior, or commercial solicitation will lead to instant profile suspension under our automatic safety protocol. Reported profiles are manually reviewed by admins, and suspended users lose all matching privileges permanently.
By signing in, you agree that you are at least 18 years old and are a currently enrolled university student. Aligned reserves all rights to suspend matching privileges to preserve safety.
